GTA 6 PC Release Up in the Air, Take-Two CEO Offers Vague Hints

Grand Theft Auto 6 fans on PC are left waiting after Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick remained tight-lipped on a specific release date for the platform during a recent interview.

While the first trailer confirmed a Fall 2025 launch for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, the PC version remains shrouded in mystery.

Zelnick's comments during the TD Cowen conference offered little solace to PC gamers. He acknowledged the lack of an announcement but didn't commit to a future one, stating, "the only thing that can happen after no announcement is, I think, an announcement or a continuation of no announcement."

However, he did hint at future announcements, saying, "Rockstar has an approach to platforms that we've seen before, and they'll be making more announcements in due course." This aligns with Rockstar's past strategy of prioritizing current-gen consoles before releasing on PC. Games like GTA 4, 5, L.A. Noire, and Red Dead Redemption 2 all followed this pattern.

The only exception is the original Red Dead Redemption, which remains absent from PC altogether. While some speculate a potential remake alongside a PC release, there's no official confirmation.

For now, PC gamers eager to play GTA 6 will have to wait for Rockstar's next announcement. The confirmed Fall 2025 release window only applies to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S versions.
