The highway system in the trailer matches real Miami almost perfectly

I live in Miami and I've been comparing the trailer footage to Google Earth. The I-95 / I-395 interchange is almost 1:1. The MacArthur Causeway connecting the mainland to the beach — it's there.

Rockstar isn't just making a "Vice City inspired" map. They're recreating Miami's road network at a level of detail we've never seen in a GTA game.

The scale is what gets me. In the trailer you can see highways stretching to the horizon. This map is going to be massive.

If they're getting highways right, imagine what the neighborhoods look like up close.

The elevated sections through downtown are going to be incredible for chases. Imagine weaving through traffic on a raised highway with the skyline around you.

Los Santos felt dense but small. This looks like an actual metropolitan area with suburbs, swamps, and everything in between.

Does anyone know if the Keys will be in the game? Driving down the Overseas Highway with water on both sides would be insane.

Keys would be perfect for a post-launch DLC zone. Drive there, boat there, fly there.

I just want to cruise Ocean Drive at sunset with the radio on. That's it. That's the whole game for me.

Honestly same. The vibes are going to be unreal.
