8 years since RDR2, GTA 6 has to be monumental
I was just thinking about the gap between releases. GTA V to RDR2 was about 5 years. RDR2 to GTA 6 will be 8 years this November. That's three extra years of development on top of what they put into RDR2, which is already their best game imo.
RDR2 was such a huge leap from GTA V in every way. The story, the world, the little details. If that took 5 years, what does 8 years of work on a new GTA look like? I can't even picture it.
Everyone says keep your expectations in check, but come on. We've been waiting almost a decade for a new Rockstar game. It's hard not to think this one is going to be something else entirely. I'm hyped, but I'm also a little nervous. The longer the wait, the higher the bar.
What's the one thing you're expecting from GTA 6 that would make the 8 year wait feel worth it?

this. so much this. Vice City to San Andreas was two years. Now it's eight, and I'm just hoping it has that energy.
