Three Leaf Clover is still the best mission, fight me (but I'm probably wrong)
I keep coming back to Three Leaf Clover from GTA IV. The way the heist goes sideways the second you step out of the bank, and then you're stuck in that subway tunnel with cops swarming from both ends, it just feels more desperate than any other mission in the series. I might be biased because it was the first time a GTA heist really nailed that Heat-style chaos, but I don't think anything since has matched the weight of every shotgun blast echoing in those tunnels. I'm probably wrong though, and someone's about to remind me of a Trevor mission I've completely forgotten.
ngl i'm still working my way through the old games lol. is this the bank one? every clip i've seen looks absolutely unhinged. might need to borrow my roommate's copy before november
The tunnel section is where it really earns its keep. There's no crew management screen. No percentage cuts. It's just four guys in suits realizing the getaway's dead.
absolutely unhingedis right. GTA V's heists looked bigger but felt like a movie set. Every explosion had a cleanup crew waiting offstage. Three Leaf Clover just throws you in the gutter and locks the door.
I'm hoping GTA 6 brings some of that ugliness back. The marketing wants us dreaming of neon sunsets, but the best GTA moments always stink of panic and bad decisions.
Four guys in suits (no waypoint nonsense) running east through Algonquin's subway hits harder than any Los Santos setpiece. I'm hoping Leonida's backroads channel that same panic.
panic and bad decisionsexactly. Three Leaf Clover felt like actual getaway. No clean movie scene. I'm hoping Leonida backroads give us that same ugly mess. No plan, just run.
