Realistic PC release timeline — when should we actually expect it?

GTA V: PS3/360 Sept 2013, PC April 2015 — 18 months. RDR2: Oct 2018 console, Nov 2019 PC — 13 months.

So GTA 6 launching Nov 2026, PC is probably late 2027 or early 2028. The gap is shrinking each time.

The silver lining: the PC version is always the definitive one. GTA V on PC is still the best version 12 years later.

I'd bet on Q3 2027. Take-Two knows PC money is too big to leave on the table, especially with GTA Online revenue.

Buying a PS5 for launch, then switching to PC when it drops. Play story on console, mod it on PC later.

The modding community is going to go insane with GTA 6 on PC. If they recreated Liberty City in GTA V, imagine what they'll do with VI's engine.
