Yanis community map V15 is out, lots of tweaks and new speculative stuff
Yanis just dropped V15 of the community map and it's a pretty substantial update. If you've been following the mapping project, you know they've been piecing together the Leonida layout from the two trailers and any official screenshots. This version has a ton of small fixes and some new speculative additions.
Some of the changes that caught my eye: they fixed the gang hideout shape in La Perle, updated the refinery north of Port Gellhorn, rotated the prison, and adjusted coastlines around southern Catalan Bay. They also added a speculative Homestead Bayfront Park, extended the boat canal near Jason's house, and removed some imaginary roads in Watson Bay that were probably just guesses.
Downtown Vice City got a new building at 169 E Flagler St, and they adjusted the elevation of the canyon. Ambrosia got a lot of love too: a new road near the Wheelabrator, a missing warehouse, industrial buildings near the train station, and they moved those big diagonal conveyors. They also added shipping terminals on the southwest side of the Vice River and speculative I97 exits in Vice City.
Port Gellhorn saw a speculative peninsula added, plus various buildings and coast adjustments. They added helipads around the map, improved the wastewater treatment plant on Virginia Key, and added cargo ships and a cruise ship at Port VC. There's even a speculative Gellhorn Roadhouse restaurant now.
The map is available on the usual sites, and they've updated the credits for contributing users. It's cool to see how the community keeps refining this based on every frame of the trailers. Some of the speculative stuff might be way off, but it's fun to compare with what we'll see in the extended look next week.
What do you think about the speculative additions, are they getting too detailed or is it still useful for getting hyped?

The refinery north of Port Gellhorn looks PERFECT for late night drift runs and the peninsula could be sick for offroad meets. Hope those roads are wide enough for tandem lines. Ambrosia's industrial zone better have some hidden garages tucked away. I'm just scoping build spots before November.
