how many hours straight are you going on day one?

Took the 19th and 20th off already but the real question is how long that first session actually lasts before I crash. I keep seeing people talking about clearing their schedule, getting snacks ready, telling the kids to fend for themselves, but nobody really says how many hours they're committing to.

I'm on PST and I still don't know exactly when it unlocks. I've seen midnight thrown around, and also 9pm so the whole US gets it at the same moment across time zones. If that 9pm thing is real, that changes everything. Me and my cousin would probably go from 9pm straight through to like 5 or 6 in the morning, so 8 or 9 hours before either of us taps out.

That first night is always weird though. You spend half of it just messing with settings, watching the intro, driving around doing nothing. Then suddenly it's 4am and you haven't even touched a mission. I'm fine with that.

Some people are saying they'll do 24 hours. I respect it but my body won't. I'd rather do a solid 8 or 9, sleep a few hours, then get right back in. The game isn't going anywhere, but launch day only happens once.

What's the longest you've ever gone on a GTA launch day?
