PC Gamer just dropped 'Careful when you're in Leonida, it's on sight' and I'm already nervous

Saw this line from PC Gamer and it's been stuck in my head all morning. No context, no article body, just that one sentence. "Careful when you're in Leonida, it's on sight."

I know we've heard bits about NPCs being more reactive, the criminal profile system, people snitching if you're carrying a weapon. But this feels different. "On sight" isn't just cops getting suspicious or shopkeepers calling the law. That's the kind of phrase you use when the whole state treats you like a threat the second you step out of line.

Think about it. In GTA 5, you could walk down the street with a rocket launcher and most pedestrians just ignored you. Cops only cared if you fired it. If Leonida is really "on sight," then maybe just existing in certain neighborhoods with the wrong reputation gets you jumped. Or maybe it's about rival gangs, or the cops being way more aggressive than we're used to.

I'm not saying I want a full survival horror experience, but a little more danger in the open world would be nice. GTA 5 felt way too safe once you had a few million in the bank. If Leonida actually makes you watch your back, that's a huge shift.

ok so that line is definitely chilling but i'm trying not to read too much into it until we see that extended look. could just mean certain areas like Port Gellhorn or the Grassrivers are hostile if you're rolling in looking flashy. GTA 5 let you tank the whole city once you were loaded so any real danger sounds amazing! just hope it doesn't turn into instant death everywhere.

If it's on sight I'm factoring death cost into my hourly. Gotta protect the profit-per-hour.
