I don't know what Rick and Morty's about but I have turned GTA 5 into its perfect replica

So I clicked on a PC Gamer article because the headline was "I don't know what Rick and Morty's about but I have turned GTA 5 into its perfect replica." Sounded like some wild mod showcase or maybe a parody piece. Nope. The entire body of the article is one sentence:

You need to have a very high IQ to understand Grand Theft Auto.

That's it. No screenshots, no mod description, no explanation of how they turned GTA 5 into a Rick and Morty replica. Just the classic copypasta. I honestly can't tell if this is a joke that went over my head or if someone at PC Gamer just decided to publish a meme and call it a day. Either way, I respect it.

It does make me think about all the weird modding people do with GTA 5 while we wait for GTA 6. I've seen everything from ultra-realistic graphics overhauls to full-on cartoon shaders. Someone probably has already made a Rick and Morty style mod where every NPC looks like a weird alien and the cars have googly eyes. I wouldn't put it past this community.

But back to the article. The fact that it's just that one sentence and nothing else feels like a commentary on something, maybe on how GTA itself has become this meme-ified thing where you don't need to explain it, you just need to reference the high IQ line. Or maybe the author genuinely doesn't know what Rick and Morty is about and that's the joke. I don't know. I'm overthinking it.

What's the dumbest mod you've ever seen or made in GTA 5 while waiting for GTA 6?
