Finally pre-ordered after months of saving up, and I'm not even sorry about the digital vs physical drama
Been grinding extra shifts for the last few months and it all paid off today. Pre-order is locked in. I know there's a whole debate raging about physical vs digital right now, and honestly I get both sides, but I just wanted to share this moment because I don't usually drop this kind of cash on myself.
I grew up playing Vice City on a hand-me-down PS2 with a scratched disc that would freeze every time I drove too fast over the bridge to Prawn Island. So this feels like a full circle thing. Seeing that confirmation email hit my inbox was weirdly emotional. My inner 12-year-old is losing his mind.
I went digital because it's just easier for me these days, but I know some of you are holding out for a disc even if it's just a download key in a box. I respect that. At the end of the day we're all gonna be in Leonida come November 19, and that's what matters.
What about you all? Did you pre-order yet, or are you waiting to see if a collector's edition pops up? And if you did pre-order, did you go physical or digital?

I'm digital too. It's fewer moving parts on launch day, and November 19 is the only deadline that matters.
ngl im still eating ramen to fund this preorder. respect for locking it in fr
ok so that scratched ps2 disc story lining up with the Vintage Vice City Pack is basically perfect symmetry.
That scratched disc story really hits home. Here in Brazil we had a lot of pirated DVDs that'd freeze at worst moment, so I feel that pain. Going digital is smart, no more dirty disc errors. I haven't pre-ordered yet, still saving up because price here gets bit wild with taxes. But November 19 is the goal.
