so how many of you got swept up in the pre-gta 6 game rush? which ones did you grab?

Saw Push Square's poll and it got me thinking. The last couple months have been absolutely stacked with releases, and it's basically all because of GTA 6. Publishers saw November 19 coming and noped out, cramming everything into late August through early November instead.

I remember when the date got announced. Suddenly every studio was scrambling to avoid launching anywhere near it. Can't really blame them. Who's going to compete with Rockstar dropping the biggest game of the decade?

But now I'm looking at my own library and realizing I picked up way more than I planned. My wallet is crying. There was just too much good stuff in that window, and I kept telling myself I'd finish them all before GTA 6 hits. Spoiler: I won't.

Push Square is asking which PS5 games people actually bought during this rush. I'm curious what the forum's been grabbing too. Did you go for the big fall releases, or did you hold off knowing GTA 6 would eat your life anyway?

I ended up with a couple of things I probably wouldn't have touched if the schedule wasn't so packed. FOMO got me. Now they're sitting there unplayed and I'm staring at the GTA 6 countdown like an idiot.

So what did you all end up buying in this window, and did any of them actually hold your attention or are you just counting down the days until November 19?
