I got tired of seeing YouTube videos and posts throwing around exact dollar amounts for nightclubs, fencing cuts, property prices, all of it with no source. So I went through the extended look, the Rockstar North TGG session from August 31, and every creator preview I could find. Only pulled what Rockstar has actually shown or said.

Confirmed stuff

  • Three separate money types. Cash on person can be lost if you die or get robbed. Buckme digital balance is safe, purple icon on the HUD. Duffel bag loot is stolen goods you haven't fenced yet, can't deposit directly, need the right fence like a car fence or jewelry fence. Smart play is moving cash to ATM to Buckme after every score.
  • Higher tier robbery targets show an estimated payout on the map before you commit. You can scout and decide if it's worth the risk.

Stuff people quote as fact but isn't

Any specific nightclub or business income per day, fencing payout percentages, car dealership margins, drug operation revenue, property purchase prices, stock market returns. Every one of those numbers is either pulled from GTA Online or completely invented. If a site or video quotes a specific dollar amount for a GTA 6 business, ask for the Rockstar source. There isn't one.

I've been putting together sourced breakdowns of all this if anyone wants links, happy to share.

Which confirmed money mechanic are you most focused on for launch day?
