the 6:00 mark in the extended look is the moment it all clicked for me
I've rewatched that 6:00 mark about 20 times now and it still gets me. Lucia drops out the window into the dark, the guitar riff from Let Your Love Flow kicks in, and the GTA VI logo pops up. That whole sequence is doing something to me.
The first part of the extended look is tense. Gunfights, chaos, that grinding feeling we've all had waiting for this game. It's like Rockstar bottled up the last year of waiting and put it on screen. Then the music starts and Lucia screams out the car window and it's just this huge release. I got a lump in my throat, no joke.
I know it's just a trailer moment but the direction there is brilliant. It shows gameplay but it also tells us the wait is over. I'm decades away from being a kid and I still felt that childish excitement. No real point to this post, just needed to share with people who get it.
Did that moment hit anyone else the same way, or is there another part of the extended look that got you?
