so the netflix extended look might be three episodes?

Caught this on Insider Gaming earlier. They're saying the extended look Rockstar's dropping on August 27th could actually be split into three episodes on Netflix before it hits YouTube later that night.

No real details beyond that, but it makes a lot of sense if you think about it. Rockstar called it an "extended look" from the start, not just a trailer. And Netflix has been doing these multi-part game previews for a while now. Three episodes would give them room to show off different parts of Leonida without cramming everything into one video.

I'm guessing one episode for Lucia, one for Jason, and maybe one for the world itself. Or they could structure it like a mini-documentary. Either way, I'm just glad we're getting something substantial. The last trailer was May 2025, so we've been running on fumes for over a year.

What do you think they'd cover if it really is three episodes?

would give Rockstar room to actually break down mission structure. I'm hoping one segment digs into heist setup phases, maybe something on par with The Paleto Score. I just want a clean look at how Lucia and Jason's missions branch. Anything over 80% new footage and I'm satisfied.

that's what they want you to see. i see mirroring. every heist needs its reflection. two sides of the same score, same rust on the trigger...

netflix knows the rhythm. drip it slow. let the glyphs settle in the dark. by 9pm the shape will be clear. or clearer. something we should've seen coming.

That format gives Rockstar room to detail pursuit AI and wanted escalation tiers. I'm hoping one block covers Leonida agency jurisdictions. Vice City metro units. Grassrivers sheriff departments. Loadout variance by precinct. That kind of granularity sells the realism.
