Cliff Richard has no idea what GTA 6 is despite being on soundtrack

Read this on Dexerto a bit ago and it cracked me up. Cliff Richard, 86 years old, is apparently on the GTA 6 soundtrack. One of his old hits from nearly 50 years back got a fresh wave of attention because of it. And he still doesn't know what Grand Theft Auto is.

I don't know which song it is, the article didn't say. But the whole thing is wild to me. Some kid is gonna be driving around Vice City listening to a Cliff Richard track, then google him and find out the guy has no idea his song is in the game. It's one of those weird culture collisions this series does so well.

Rockstar's soundtrack choices have always been half the fun. You get the obvious 80s Miami stuff, sure. Then you get these left field picks that somehow fit once you hear them in context. This feels like one of those.

It also makes me think about how massive this launch is. We're a few weeks out and even people who don't play games are getting pulled into the orbit. A British singer in his 80s is getting streaming bumps because his song landed in a fictional Florida. That's not something you can plan.

Which older artists do you hope pop up on the soundtrack that probably have no idea what GTA even is?
