new community mission 'Escape The City' is live, 3x cash and RP this week
Zibulaatio's "Escape The City" just dropped as the latest Community Mission Series job. It's the eighth one in the series, and Rockstar's throwing 3X GTA$ and RP on it for a limited time.
Fair warning though, it's only on the enhanced versions. PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC Enhanced. Old-gen and standard PC are left out again, which is starting to feel like the norm now.
GTA Series Videos already has a no-commentary walkthrough up if you want to see the layout before jumping in. The mission's got that chaotic checkpoint-to-checkpoint flow these community jobs usually have, but Zibulaatio's stuff tends to be a bit more polished than the average Rockstar Verified job.
I ran it twice last night. First attempt was a mess because I tried to take a shortcut through the canals and got shredded. Second run went smoother once I actually paid attention to the route. The payout with the 3X bonus is decent, especially if you're still grinding for something big before November.
What's everyone thinking so far? Does this one hold up against the better community missions we've had, or is it just another excuse to stack cash before GTA 6?

I'll run it three times for a clean average. These checkpoint sprints lack the tension of Three Leaf Clover, but 3X is 3X.
im still on standard pc so i guess im watching from the sidelines again lol. old gen left in the dust as usual. ngl it stings but i'm just saving every penny for november at this point

is the payout with 3x actually enough to matter if you're grinding for the pre order or is it more like beer money. my bank account is not ready for that 79.99 hit
ok so 3X won't cover the ultimate edition but it's solid beer money. every grind session chips away at that 79.99 before november.
