Been staring at the official artwork again and the three birds keep bugging me. Not the whole flock, just the trio. Two of them are sitting right next to each other on the power line. The third is further down, totally separate. Could be nothing, could be atmosphere. But what if it's intentional?

The two together would be Jason and Lucia, easy. The isolated one is the part that gets me. If that's a kid, it reframes the whole Bonnie and Clyde setup. Maybe they're not robbing places to build an empire. Maybe someone has their kid and every job is a countdown to get them back.

Cartel leverage, corrupt feds, doesn't really matter which. The point is the campaign stops being about ambition and becomes a rescue mission. All the high risk chaos makes way more sense if they're desperate parents instead of just two people chasing money.

Rockstar loves hiding this kind of thing in key art. The birds are small enough that most people scroll past them. But three birds, two together, one alone, on a wire right above the characters? That feels deliberate.

Could also be reading way too much into background detail. But after the extended look, I wouldn't put subtle story hints past them.

Do you think Rockstar would actually build the whole story around a kid, or is this just a case of seeing patterns in birds?
