psa: the liquid and splatter vinyls are still up on the canada store

Saw a few people in the merch thread bummed that the liquid vinyl sold out ages ago and the splatter just went too. Turns out there's still a way to grab both if you don't mind a little import hassle.

Switch the store region to Canada. The splatter variant is still sitting there ready to order, and the liquid one too. I know the Canadian store usually gets written off because of shipping, but the numbers actually work out better than you'd think for US buyers.

The splatter ends up costing basically the same as it did on the US store. The liquid runs about $10 to $15 more once you factor everything in. The lack of tax on the Canadian side eats a good chunk of the import cost, so it's not the rip-off it sounds like at first.

I can't speak to what shipping looks like if you're outside the US, but if you're in the States and have been refreshing the sold out page hoping for a restock, this is probably your best bet. No clue how long the Canadian stock holds up, these things have been moving fast.

I know some folks think the vinyls are just overhyped merch, and I get that. But if you're the type who wants the full collection, this is a solid workaround. I'd rather pay a little extra than feed a scalper on eBay later.
