Bland or badass? The internet is split on GTA 6's Jason, and so is PC Gamer

Caught PC Gamer's headline this morning and it's spot on. Everyone's got an opinion on Jason, including them apparently. The internet has been going back and forth on this guy since the first trailer dropped. Some folks think he's just a generic white dude with a backwards cap, nothing special. Others see the potential, like he's got that quiet intensity thing going on. I've seen threads where people call him boring and threads where people are already planning their Jason playthrough.

What's funny is that we still don't know that much about him. Two trailers and a 26 minute extended look, and he's still kind of a mystery. Lucia gets all the attention because she's the first female protagonist in a mainline GTA, but Jason might be the one who surprises us. Or he might be exactly what the haters say. Hard to tell.

PC Gamer being split on it just proves how divisive he is. I'm leaning towards giving him a chance, but I get why people are underwhelmed. Rockstar usually nails their protagonists, but Jason feels different. Maybe that's the point.

What do you all think, is Jason going to be a memorable GTA protagonist or just the guy standing next to Lucia?
