the gta 6 extended look comments are all about not dying before november

Watched the extended look last night and then made the mistake of scrolling the comments. Expected the usual hype about graphics and gunplay, but the top stuff is way heavier than that.
The number one comment is basically a moment of silence for everyone who didn't make it to see this trailer. Another one says "objective: stay alive till release day." And honestly, after waiting since GTA 5 came out almost 13 years ago, that hits different.
Someone else wrote that they went through middle school, high school, and college since GTA 5, and now they need to request time off work for GTA 6. That's a whole life lived between games. Then there's the guy who lost a leg in a traffic accident back in February but said he's still got his two hands and his eyes, so he's ready. That's the kind of energy I need.
GameSpot pointed out that the trailer itself has a ton to unpack too. NPCs will notice if you're openly carrying a weapon, which is a big change. And stealing cars is more complicated now. Older vehicles you can still smash the window, but newer models need a key cloner. So no more just yanking the door open on a modern sports car.
They also mentioned a playthrough could be around 80 hours, so plan your holiday time accordingly. I'm already thinking about how to clear my schedule for November 19.
It's weird how a game trailer can make you think about your own mortality, but here we are. The wait has been so long that it's become a life milestone. I'm just glad I'm still around to see it.
