PC Gamer modded a whole zoo into GTA 5 and now I'm jealous of their animal crew

So PC Gamer just posted an article with the headline about modding dogs, cows, lions and a chimp into GTA 5, and the entire body is just "Rolling deep." That's it. No explanation, no screenshots, just a two word flex. I respect it.

I've messed around with GTA 5 mods before, mostly car stuff and some graphics overhauls, but I never thought to just fill the game with animals. The idea of walking around Los Santos with a lion and a chimp following you like a posse is kind of amazing. And the fact that they're all "friends" according to the author, that's the kind of chaotic energy I need in my life.

It got me thinking about GTA 6. We know there's a lot of wildlife in Leonida, alligators, flamingos, probably more. And there was that thread about petting dogs and scolding them like RDR2. But what about modding? GTA 6 isn't coming to PC at launch, which is a bummer for modders, but eventually it will. And when it does, I can only imagine what people will do with the new animal AI. If GTA 5 modders can make a lion your best friend, what happens when they get their hands on GTA 6's more advanced systems?

I'm not saying I want a pet chimp in Vice City, but I'm also not saying I don't. The idea of rolling up to a heist with a cow in the passenger seat is stupid and I love it.

I want an alligator escort through the Grassrivers (obviously). Los Santos never had the wetland density for proper swamp modding, but Leonida's map looks like it's built for it. Imagine herding flamingos through Vice City or parking a cow near Port Gellhorn. The geography alone is begging for chaotic animal posse energy.

i've seen mods that turn traffic into flocks. no purpose, just spirals. that's the real code.

when the pc version wakes up... the swamp swallows the mods whole. and the chimps... they'll be driving.

A cow riding shotgun feels like a supporting character with better timing than most leads. I'm sold.
