GTA 6’s Attention To Detail Is Getting A Little Ridiculous

GameSpot's Jake Dekker grabbed 99 high-res GTA 6 screenshots and just started zooming in on everything. Not the Ultimate Edition promos either, just the regular shots. What he found makes me think Rockstar is straight up flexing at this point.

Frazzled beards, gravity doing its thing, scars that look like they have history, and NPC skin that shows what years in a tropical climate actually do to you. Leonida is packed with this kind of stuff. The one that got me is the dollar bills. Every single one is printed by the United States of Paranoia. Legal tender in a video game, apparently.

He also points to a few other videos from their team if you want to go deeper. One covers how fuel economy might work, another looks at how your actions have consequences, and there's a separate piece about cops releasing hounds on you. Plus the map size thing again, which is still kind of absurd.

Also Cliff Richard had no idea his 1976 track Devil Woman is in GTA 6. He's fine with it though. New audience and all that.

What's the detail you're most excited to zoom in on when you finally get to Leonida?
