the people who made hating gta 6 their entire personality are exhausting
There's a certain type of comment that keeps showing up under every GTA 6 post and it's getting old. You know the ones. They don't just say the game isn't for them, they need you to know it's going to flop and they'll be happy when it does.
I saw a thread earlier where someone basically said everyone has a right to their own opinion, and if you don't like something you can just ignore it and move on. That part I agree with. But then you get these accounts that turn hating the game into a full time job. They post the same 'GTA 6 will flop and I'll be so happy when all of you are proved wrong' line everywhere.
What gets me is how any pushback gets labeled as glazing or bootlicking. Like you can't just be excited for a Rockstar game without someone acting like you're on the payroll. It's weird. I've been playing these games since San Andreas and I don't remember the lead up to GTA 5 being this hostile. Maybe I wasn't paying attention.
If someone genuinely thinks the game looks bad, fine. Don't buy it. But spending months telling hyped people they're wrong? That's just spite. The original poster said it better than I can: if you don't like something, why keep talking about it?
I'm not saying everyone has to love it. I've got my own worries about whether the map will feel as dense as the trailers made it look. But I'm not out here hoping it fails. That's a miserable way to spend the next month and a half until November 19.
These people made hating GTA 6 their whole personality and I honestly don't get the appeal. I'll be in Leonida day one, and they can keep yelling into the void.
