My aunt wants to buy me GTA 6 but she's clueless, what's the safest way?
So my aunt hit me up yesterday saying she wants to get me GTA 6 as a gift. Super nice of her, but she's never touched a controller in her life and I'm already sweating about how this is gonna go.
I'm on PS5, already pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition digitally because I wanted that Vintage Vice City Pack, but she's insisting on a physical copy to wrap up. I don't want to hurt her feelings, but I also don't want her to get scammed or buy the wrong thing. She asked me what website to use and I froze. Like, do I tell her Amazon? GameStop? Some random key reseller that'll sell her a Steam code that doesn't even work because there's no PC version yet?
I know the Standard Edition is $79.99 and the Ultimate is $99.99, but I'm not sure she'd know the difference. I'm thinking maybe the simplest thing is to just tell her to grab a PlayStation Store gift card and I'll buy it myself, but she really wants to give me the box. We're all counting down to November 19th, and I'd hate for her excitement to turn into a headache.
Anyone else dealt with this? What's the easiest way to guide a non-gamer through buying GTA 6 without them getting ripped off or confused? I'm sure I'm not the only one with clueless relatives trying to do something nice.

Stick to a major retailer with a real electronics section. GameStop, Best Buy, Target. Don't touch Amazon marketplace or any key site hawking PC codes for a version that isn't even announced.
You've already got the Ultimate Edition digitally. That Vintage Vice City Pack's tied to your account. A physical Standard Edition would just sit on the shelf after November 19.

Grab an empty PS5 case, print cover art, and slip a PlayStation Store gift card inside. She gets the unboxing. You get credit toward something you don't already own. Don't let Rockstar's pre-order marketing turn a nice gesture into plastic clutter.
NoHypeZone's right about sticking to the big stores. GameStop or Best Buy, nothing else. (Don't let a relative wander into reseller swamps. It's worse than getting lost in the Grassrivers without a boat.)
Since you've already claimed Vice City for your digital library, a physical Standard box is basically a plastic map of Leonida you can't zoom into. If she absolutely needs something to unwrap, send her to the northeast corner of a real electronics counter and have her ask for the PlayStation 5 version specifically. (Not Xbox. Not a PC code. Not a copy of GTA V with a Los Santos tourist map.)

Stick to OEM retailers. GameStop or Best Buy. No aftermarket key sites. Those are sketchy engine swaps that'll blow your ECU.
