I'm not touching the story. Not on day one. I need to see how the Vice City PD operates under pressure.

I'll find a quiet street in Port Gellhorn, commit a minor infraction, and watch the response. How fast do units arrive? Do they use verbal commands before drawing down? I want to see the new pursuit AI in action. GTA V's cops were too aggressive, always ramming. I'm hoping for more realistic escalation. Maybe a K9 unit if I flee on foot. Spike strips on the highway. Air support that actually coordinates with ground units.

Then I'll push it to a 5-star. What's the SWAT loadout? Do they use tear gas, flashbangs, breaching tactics? I need to know if the wanted system has real depth or if it's just more of the same.

What's your first move? Story or testing the 5-0?

Same here, but I'm hunting for breakage. I want to see if their pathfinding might glitch near the Leonida Keys bridges, or if a cruiser clips into a wall. The escalation seems deeper, sure, but I could be wrong. I'm mostly curious if the AI falls apart when you lead them onto the Grassrivers mudflats. Do they actually coordinate, or does the script get confused if you swim?

Do they actually coordinate

They won't. It's scripted flair for trailers. Day one, they'll drive into the bay.

this. so much this.

I'm not touching the story.

Same. Back in '02 we burned whole afternoons grinding wanted levels in VC before touching a single mission. Gotta see if Port Gellhorn's finest actually coordinate... or if it's still just ram and pray.

I get the impulse.

burned whole afternoons grinding wanted levels

I was right there with you in '02.

These days I've got two kids and a job that starts at six. First night with Leonida? I'll probably run a couple story missions just to get my bearings. Maybe poke the bear in Port Gellhorn if I'm still awake by ten.

Hope the AI's smarter. Not betting the farm. If they still ram me like it's 2013, I'll know quick. My Saturday afternoons are too short for a five-star swamp chase.
