JasonTheWeen and Asmongold shocked as GTA 6 appears to feature N3on lookalike

Caught a clip of Asmongold and JasonTheWeen losing it over a background NPC in the extended look. They both froze the frame and started yelling about how it looks exactly like N3on. I had to rewind a few times but yeah, the resemblance is uncanny. Same hair, same face shape, even the way the character stands. Rockstar definitely pulled from streaming culture for Leonida's NPCs.

It's not just those two either. A bunch of creators were posting about it during the premiere. The chat went wild when the camera panned past that guy. I guess it makes sense, GTA has always been a parody of real life, and streamers are a huge part of pop culture now. Putting a lookalike in the game is exactly the kind of thing Rockstar would do without saying a word.

I didn't notice it on my first watch because there's so much going on in every frame. But after seeing the side by side comparisons, it's impossible to miss. The NPC even has that same slightly confused expression N3on always has when he's reading chat. It's probably not intentional, just a random generated face that happens to look like him, but the timing with the extended look dropping right after all the streaming drama is too good.

Either way, this is the kind of detail that makes the wait for November feel longer. I'm going to be scanning every crowd shot for other streamer lookalikes now. Wouldn't be surprised if there's a Kai Cenat clone somewhere in Vice City too.

Rockstar's always been sharp with crowd details.

scanning every crowd shot

I'm right there with you. If there's a streamer clone wandering Vice City, that's just perfect satire. I'm already dreaming up the needle drop that'll play when you cruise past him. Probably some fresh Leonida station we've never heard. Background characters sell the world!
