we're a month out from gta 6 and still no online trailer, same timing as gta 5's reveal

Was looking back at how Rockstar handled GTA 5's rollout and the timing lines up in a weird way. GTA 5 came out on PS3 September 17, 2013, and the GTA Online gameplay trailer hit August 15, so basically a month before launch. We're now sitting about a month out from GTA 6 on November 19, and Rockstar hasn't said a word about what the online side looks like.

I know they don't have to follow the same marketing beats. They've been way more locked down this time, and the Extended Look already gave us a lot. But there's that rumored October 15 thing going around, and part of me keeps thinking it might be an online reveal instead of another story dump.

I've personally seen enough of the campaign at this point. Lucia and Jason's story, the setting, the tone, I'd rather go in as blind as possible from here. An online trailer would be a nice middle ground. Show off whatever the new online mode is, the map changes, the systems, without spoiling more of the single player stuff.

If October 15 turns out to be real and it's just online, I'd be totally fine with that. Give me a look at whatever Leonida's online hub ends up being, and leave the story alone.
