For the first time in GTA I'm going to spend time just walking around

I've been thinking about this a lot since the extended look. In every GTA before this, walking felt like a punishment. You were either sprinting to a car or just killing time until you found one to jack. NPCs were set dressing. You could bump into them, punch a few, maybe get a reaction, but there was never a reason to slow down and actually look at the world. It all felt flat unless you were doing 100 mph or starting a shootout.

Now my first instinct in GTA 6 won't be to grab a car or start blasting. I want to just wander through neighborhoods and see what's happening around me. Walk into stores and buildings, actually feel like the NPCs are real people worth talking to. Maybe they'll even give me something useful if I interact with them. That's the dream.

This is what I've wanted from GTA for years. I want to feel like a real person in a real world, not some lunatic who only exists to cause chaos. I'm so curious to see how different areas have different people, different vibes, different places to shop and eat. If Rockstar nails that, this could be the peak of the series. I don't think it'll get old even after a decade of playing. It's just going to be so varied and alive.

I'm with you on this. The idea of strolling through Vice City and actually caring about the world around me is what's got me most hyped. If the immersion is even half as good as it looks, I'll be walking everywhere too.
