Coles has 10% off gift cards this week, works for GTA 6 pre-orders

For the aussies here who haven't locked in their pre-order yet, Coles is running a 10% off deal on Ultimate gift cards from Wednesday October 21 through the 28th.

I know the Ultimate $100 Him card and the variable load ones aren't included, which is annoying. But the teen and student cards are, and those work on both PlayStation and Xbox stores. So if you grab a couple of those, you can use them to pay for GTA 6 digitally and basically get 10% off the game.

I did this with a few other releases and it's a no brainer. The money stays in your pocket instead of going straight to Sony or Microsoft. With the standard edition sitting at $79.99, knocking 10% off isn't massive but it's something. If you're going Ultimate at $99.99, you save a bit more.

Only catch is you need to actually go into Coles and grab the physical cards. Not available online as far as I know. And the deal ends on the 28th so don't sleep on it if you're planning to pre-order before launch.

Anyone else in Australia doing this, or have you found another way to shave a few bucks off the pre-order?
