Replaying Vice City Definitive Edition before GTA 6 — it's actually great

Decided to fire up the Vice City Definitive Edition for the first time since the original, just to get in the mood for November 19th. I know the remasters got a lot of hate when they dropped, but honestly I'm having a blast. The visual overhaul really works for me, especially in handheld on the Switch 2. It's bright, it's crisp, and it holds up way better than I expected.

My memory of the story is basically gone, so it's almost like playing it fresh. A few deja vu moments here and there, but mostly I'm just cruising around, soaking in that 80s vibe, and thinking about how insane it's gonna be to see modern Vice City in a few months.

Anyone else doing a nostalgia run before GTA 6? I feel like it's the perfect appetizer. The wait's almost over, and this is a solid reminder of why we all fell in love with the setting in the first place.
