walking across the map in gta 6 is going to be a whole different experience

I was replaying GTA V the other day and just walking around, not doing missions. For 2013 that map was insane, especially compared to what else was out then. AC Black Flag and The Last of Us were the big ones and neither had that same lived-in feel. You could slow down in Los Santos and find little details everywhere.

But I think VI is going to make V look sparse. The way Rockstar has talked about Leonida, plus what we saw in the trailers, it seems like every block in Vice City and every stretch of the Keys will have something going on. NPCs with actual routines, random events, wildlife, weather. I want to be able to walk from one end of the map to the other and not see the same thing twice.

We're under 14 weeks out now, which is wild. I keep thinking about the density. The city will be dense, but the smaller towns like Port Gellhorn and the rural areas around Mount Kalaga could be just as interesting. If Rockstar carries over the level of detail from RDR2 and pushes it further, walking around could be a whole game by itself.

What's the one thing you're most excited to just wander into, like a random swamp encounter in Grassrivers or a weird roadside attraction in Port Gellhorn?

That's the shot right there. The neon reflecting off wet asphalt while Lucia cuts through a crowd. Rockstar's always understood that a city is a character. If Leonida breathes half as much as they promise, just standing on a corner could tell a whole story.
