pc gamer writer is modding gta 5 every day until it becomes gta 6 or breaks, first update is just baby steps

Saw this on PC Gamer and it's the exact kind of unhinged energy this wait has created. Some writer over there decided to mod GTA 5 every single day until it either turns into GTA 6 or the game just gives up. The first entry is literally two words:
Baby steps.
Which, fair. You don't go from zero to full Leonida conversion overnight. The first mod is a new vehicle and enough missiles to level a city block. That's the starting point. Not a texture pack, not a reshade preset. A car and a frankly irresponsible amount of ordnance.
I kind of love it. We're all losing our minds waiting for November 19, and this is just another way of coping. Some people are rewatching the trailers frame by frame, some are binging Florida shows, and this guy is going to brute force GTA 5 into becoming the next game one mod at a time.
Realistically it's going to end with a corrupted save, a crash log longer than the extended look runtime, and maybe a melted GPU. But I respect the commitment. If he actually keeps it up until launch, that's like 90-something days of daily mods. That's a series I'd actually follow.
I'm not expecting it to become GTA 6. But watching someone try is way more entertaining than another clickbait video about a fake delay.

I'm mostly curious how long before the game throws a hissy fit. Adding a vehicle and that many missiles on day one seems like it's asking for script hook conflicts, or maybe a corrupted handling.meta.
Has anyone tried stacking heavy weapon mods like that? I'd guess the crash might come around day twelve, maybe sooner if traffic density tweaks get added on top.
ngl i had to google
handling.meta
when i saw glitchtester's comment. the dark arts of gta modding are beyond me.
i'm just over here like... wouldn't it be faster to get a minimum wage job and save up the eighty bucks? lol.
but then again i don't know how to mod. maybe this is his version of grinding.
day twelve feels optimistic. my laptop cries if i open chrome and spotify at the same time.
if he makes it to november without a blue screen that's basically a speedrun world record.
fr though i hope he streams it. watching gta 5 slowly disintegrate under the weight of a thousand missiles sounds way more entertaining than whatever i'm doing in my finance lecture

That vehicle's already in violation. No department's authorizing that kind of ordnance for a routine patrol.
