gta 6 review embargo date just got revealed
Insider Gaming just posted that the GTA 6 review embargo date is now known. No actual date in the snippet I saw, just the headline and a one-liner, but that's enough to get the launch week hype going.
Here's the exact line from their post:
One of the most important dates in gaming history has been revealed: We know when the GTA 6 review embargo is.
I'm guessing Rockstar will lift it a couple days before November 19. Most big releases do 48 to 72 hours ahead so reviews land while preloads are live. If it's earlier than that, confidence is probably high. If it's day of, that would be weird, but Rockstar doesn't really do day-of embargoes for mainline games.
I don't need a score to know I'm buying. I do want to hear about Series S performance and whether the story holds up over 30 plus hours. Also curious if reviewers got the full Leonida map or a guided slice. The Extended Look already showed a lot, but a review can confirm if the open world actually feels alive outside scripted moments.
Once that embargo lifts the internet is going to be a mess for a few days. I'll probably mute everything and just play on the 19th.
