analyst says not everyone wants to play gta 6, so fortnite and roblox are safe

Saw this analyst take going around and it kind of made me laugh. The whole "don't release your game anywhere near November 19" panic has been treated like gospel for two years now, but this person is saying it's overblown because not everyone is going to play GTA 6.
Their basic point is that Fortnite and Roblox have totally different audiences. Kids, casual players, people who just want a free game they can hop into for twenty minutes. GTA 6 is a $70+ single purchase, mature rated, story heavy. So even if GTA 6 breaks every record on the planet, it's not going to vacuum up every single player. A lot of people just aren't interested in that kind of game, and those people are still going to be on Fortnite and Roblox.
I get where they're coming from. My little cousin lives in Roblox, has zero interest in anything with guns and crime. And Fortnite is a live service that constantly updates, GTA 6 is a one time thing you finish and then wait years for the next one. Different lanes entirely.
But still, the launch window is going to be a black hole for attention. Every streamer, every news site, every social media feed. Good luck getting anyone to notice your indie game that week. So maybe the player counts won't tank, but the marketing oxygen gets sucked out of the room regardless.
Do you think the "not everyone" argument holds up, or are publishers right to be scared of that launch window?
