gta 6 won't let you be the only armed lunatic in the room

This IGN interview keeps dropping bits that make me rethink how GTA 6 is gonna play. Rob Nelson talked about the old power fantasy and basically said that's not the vibe anymore.
In GTA 5 you were the only person with a pocket arsenal. Everyone else scattered when you pulled a gun. Nelson says GTA 6 isn't like that. NPCs have their own impulses now. They might come at you instead of running. The world acts on you as much as you act on it.
He framed the story around Jason and Lucia being criminals on the run. They need to do what they need to do without drawing unnecessary attention. So robbing places, dealing with someone who messes with you, that's fair game. But if you keep going way past what's needed, your criminal profile starts to shift. He said there's no right or wrong way to play. You can care about that or ignore it.
The part that got me was him comparing it to RDR2. Rockstar started this there, where you're not the only dangerous person. Gangs jump you. Random stuff happens. GTA 6 cranks that up. You're still capable, but you're not the only crazy person with a weapon.
Then there's the heat system. Cops know what you look like and what you're wearing. Slapping on a hat or sunglasses won't fool them. You have to actually change clothes to shake them. That's gonna make getaway plans way more involved.
I'm into it. The all powerful thing in GTA 5 was fun for a while, but a world that pushes back sounds way more interesting. November 19 can't come soon enough.
