Insider Gaming put up a piece saying the latest South Park episode had brand new GTA 6 gameplay in it. That's the entire story right now, no description of what was shown, no clip, nothing. Just that it happened "in the most fitting fashion."

I don't watch South Park live anymore so I'm stuck refreshing socials trying to figure out if this is real Rockstar footage or the show doing its own animated parody. South Park has done gaming bits before, the WoW episode is legendary, and they've gone after GTA plenty of times. If Rockstar actually handed them something from the game that's a huge marketing move, and if it's fake gameplay animated by the show that's still going to be hilarious. Either way I need to see it.

The article is here if anyone wants to read the one paragraph: New Grand Theft Auto 6 Gameplay Revealed During South Park

What I'm curious about is whether this counts as official marketing. Rockstar's been doing weird stuff, the Netflix extended look, the soundtrack drops, but a South Park crossover would be new. Or maybe South Park just animated their own fake Vice City and Insider Gaming is stretching the word "gameplay." The headline says revealed, the body doesn't clarify. Classic.

Did anyone actually watch the episode? What was shown, even if it's a blurry phone recording? And is this the first time a TV show has gotten what looks like real GTA 6 footage before release?
