Not even Rockstar heads know everything that's in GTA 6 because devs will just add stuff

GamesRadar has a short piece up about how Rockstar's own leadership apparently doesn't know everything that ends up in GTA 6. The gist is that individual devs just add stuff on their own, same way Red Dead Redemption 2 ended up with horse testicle physics that nobody at the top asked for.

That RDR2 example gets brought up a lot for a reason. Some animator or tech artist decided horse balls should react to cold weather and nobody stopped them. Now it's one of those details people still talk about years later.

If that same culture is alive at Rockstar right now, GTA 6 is going to be full of weird little touches that never show up in a trailer or a press release. Could be anything. Wildlife behavior, NPC quirks, random environmental stuff. The kind of thing you only notice on your third playthrough.

I'm honestly more excited about that than any marketing beat. Rockstar's official trailers are always polished, but the real personality comes from the stuff that slips through because some dev got obsessed with a tiny detail at 2am.

What kind of unhinged detailing do you think individual devs are sneaking into Leonida right now?
