take-two earnings call is november 9, ten days out from launch

Take-Two just set their next earnings briefing for Monday, November 9. Call kicks off at 1:30 PM PT / 4:30 PM ET and it's open for anyone to listen online. That's ten days before GTA 6 hits on November 19.
I know earnings calls are usually boring as hell, but this one lands right before launch. Analysts are definitely going to press Zelnick and the rest of management about preorder numbers, launch expectations, maybe even that online mode question everyone keeps asking. Rockstar hasn't said a word about GTA 6's online component yet, and the game keeps getting described as a single-player experience. But come on, GTA Online prints money. There's no way they leave that on the table forever.
What I wouldn't expect is any actual game details from this call. Take-Two doesn't do that. Rockstar controls the marketing and they'll drop info when they feel like it, not because some investor asks about it on a conference call. So don't get your hopes up for a new trailer or feature reveal here.
The preorder numbers floating around are wild though. Sensor Tower claims GTA 6 has already moved more than 6 million copies through pre-purchases, close to $600 million in revenue. Their estimate says it could hit 25 million preorders by launch, which would be over $2 billion before the game even comes out. For comparison, GTA 5 did $800 million in its first 24 hours and $1 billion in three days. GTA 6 might blow past that before November 19 even arrives.
Next full earnings report after this one is expected in February 2027, but if launch goes the way everyone thinks, Take-Two will probably shout about sales numbers way before that. They didn't wait long with GTA 5.
I'll probably tune in just to hear how Zelnick handles the launch questions. Not expecting much beyond corporate speak, but it's the closest thing to GTA 6 news we're getting until Rockstar decides to show up again.
