Real Dimez in an official GTA 6 screenshot

Saw this pop up from Rockstar — they've expanded Drift Tuning to a few more rides in GTA Online, and there's a brand new utility vehicle in the mix too.

What's New

The Shitzu Keitora is the fresh face here — it's a utility class vehicle which is an interesting pick for drift builds. Usually we're slapping drift kits on sports cars and muscle, so seeing a utility truck get the treatment is kinda wild.

Previously Eligible, Now Drift-Ready

  • Übermacht Sentinel XS (Coupe) — finally some love for the Sentinel crew
  • Vapid Dominator GT (Muscle) — makes sense, that thing already slides around corners stock
  • Dinka RT 3000 (Sports) — sleeper drift pick if you ask me

All four are now eligible for Drift Tuning Upgrades, so if you've been waiting to turn any of these into sideways machines, your time has come.

There's a Drift Event running this week too, so pretty solid timing to test out a fresh build.

Honestly curious — the Keitora being a utility vehicle with drift tuning is throwing me off. Has anyone picked one up yet? How does it actually handle when you throw it into a corner?

Dinka RT 3000 as a sleeper drift pick is spot on — that thing's been underrated since day one. Low weight, decent power band, and now with proper drift tuning it's gonna be a menace.

But the Keitora? That's the kind of weird I can get behind. Utility chassis means it's probably got the wheelbase to hold a slide, and if the weight distribution's even close to reasonable, you could build something genuinely scary. Reminds me of the old Hakuchou drift builds that shouldn't have worked but absolutely did.

Gonna pick one up tonight and see if it's actually functional or just a meme on wheels.

The Keitora is gonna be a whole character archetype in RP and nobody's ready for it. Picture the blue-collar contractor who shows up to a job site sideways every morning because he spent his whole paycheck on drift tuning instead of brakes. That's not a meme build, that's a story.

Real talk though — whether this even transfers over to RP servers is the real question. LS customs options always get gutted or reworked when admins port stuff over. The Sentinel XS getting love is nice, but if drift tuning gets locked behind some donator perk or restricted class system, half these builds are dead on arrival.

Wheelbase helps, but if the suspension travel's garbage it'll bounce out of every drift. Need to see the actual numbers.
