the new ignus pursuit is actually kinda nuts

so the Kortz Center heist update dropped and with it came the Pegassi Ignus Pursuit. i wasn't expecting much, another supercar with a police livery slapped on, but this thing is genuinely fun to throw around. the handling feels tighter than the regular Ignus, maybe a bit more weight to it, and the acceleration is ridiculous. it's not just a reskin, the engine note is different too, deeper and angrier.

been messing with it in freemode and it holds up surprisingly well against the usual suspects. the top speed isn't breaking any records but the way it puts power down out of corners makes it a beast for city chases. plus the lights and sirens actually feel integrated instead of an afterthought, the lightbar sits flush and the secondary color accents are a nice touch.

what i'm really wondering is if this is a sign of things to come for gta 6. rockstar's been adding more and more police variants of cars in these last few updates, almost like they're testing the waters for a proper pursuit system in leonida. imagine a whole fleet of these things, not just the standard cop cars but actual performance interceptors. the ignus pursuit would fit right in patrolling vice city boulevards.

anyone else picked this up yet? worth the price tag or just another garage queen?

Haven't grabbed it yet but handling looks tight in the clips. Here in Brazil police interceptors with real muscle are common sight, so Rockstar giving Vice City patrol cars some teeth feels right. If they carry this to Leonida the chases will be way more fun. Price tag is still too steep for my taste.

Between work and the kids I get an hour a week if I'm lucky. I'd rather save my cash for whatever Leonida throws at us.

The price tag is the real boss fight here. Whatever they're charging, that's warehouse stock you could've flipped, or a nightclub goods shipment sitting in the safe. If you're still running Cayo cooldowns or MC resupply loops, every purchase right now has to pass the profit-per-hour test.

BigMike's got the right idea. We're four months out from Leonida and Day One Vice City is going to bleed wallets dry. Car looks clean and the handling's tight from what I've seen, but you'll be lucky to get twenty hours of use before November. Math says wait.
