push square says phantom blade zero is essential, might be my gta 6 waiting game

Saw Push Square's preview of Phantom Blade Zero and it's got me thinking about what to do with myself for the next six weeks. They got a six hour session with the game in Beijing and came away calling it one of the most confident Western debuts from a developer in years. That's a big claim, especially with GTA 6 right around the corner.
The combat and boss fights are apparently the highlight. The studio, S-GAME, already knows what it's doing in the action genre, and the preview says they're primed to lead it. I don't usually care about action games outside of Rockstar stuff, but if the bosses are that good, I might have to check it out. Six hours is a lot of hands-on time, and they're saying it's essential for PS5 owners.
I know we're all counting down to November 19, and the last thing I want is to burn out on gaming before Lucia and Jason show up. But having something to keep me from refreshing the GTA 6 sub every five minutes might be worth it. The preview is from Push Square, so it's PlayStation focused, which fits since I'll be playing GTA 6 on PS5 anyway.
I'll probably wait for reviews to drop before I commit, but if the combat really is as good as they say, it could be the perfect way to pass the time. GTA 6 is still the main event, no question, but a solid action game in the weeks before launch doesn't sound bad at all.
