ps plus november games revealed, gta 5 and rdr2 leaving soon

Sony dropped the November PS Plus Essential lineup today. Dead Island 2, Tomb Raider 4-6 Remastered, and Monster Train 2 are all claimable starting November 3. Nothing GTA 6 related obviously, but the note at the bottom is what got my attention.

Dead Island 2 finally came out in 2023 after almost a decade of everyone thinking it was dead. It's a zombie game with a weirdly solid RPG layer and some absolutely gross gore, including a clown boss that still haunts me. It was on the Game Catalog in 2024, got pulled earlier this year, and now it's back as a monthly title for PS5 and PS4.

Tomb Raider 4-6 Remastered bundles The Last Revelation, Chronicles, and Angel of Darkness. They remastered the graphics but you can flip back to the old polygonal look if you want the authentic 90s feel. Monster Train 2 is a deckbuilder roguelite, better than the first with more build variety and a soundtrack that slaps.

The part I actually care about is the reminder that GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 are leaving the service soon. If you haven't finished them, you're running out of time. With GTA 6 still a few weeks out, replaying those feels like the right warmup.

Claim window runs November 3 through November 30. I'm grabbing Dead Island 2 for sure, maybe Tomb Raider for the nostalgia. Not sure about Monster Train 2, deckbuilders aren't always my thing, but the soundtrack might win me over.
