Sony's new Pulse headset is launching same day as GTA 6, pre-orders open Oct 29

Sony just confirmed their revamped Pulse headset is launching the same day GTA 6 drops, November 19. I know a lot of us have been thinking about audio upgrades for Vice City, and this timing feels deliberate.

Pre-orders open next week on PS Direct, October 29 at 10AM local time. The PS Blog also says you'll be able to grab it from participating retailers, so Amazon, Best Buy, that kind of thing. Sony says price and pre-order details are confirmed, though the article I saw didn't spell out the number.

I'm still using an old pair of headphones that have seen better days. The idea of hearing the Leonida radio stations and all the ambient city noise through something built for the PS5 is tempting. Sony's been pushing their audio stuff hard lately, and launching alongside GTA 6 is a smart move. Everyone's going to be glued to their consoles that week.

Anyone else planning to grab one of these before launch, or are you sticking with your current setup?
