gta 5 is one of two rockstar games leaving ps plus in november

Saw this pop up on Insider Gaming and figured it's worth a heads up for anyone still getting their GTA fix through PS Plus. November's catalog rotation is taking 10 games off the service and two of them are from Rockstar. GTA 5 is the one they called out by name.

No word on the other Rockstar title yet, at least not in what I read. Could be RDR2, could be something older. I'm not going to guess and act like it's confirmed.

If you've been playing GTA 5 through Extra or Premium, your time is running out. I know a few people who never actually bought it and just used the catalog version for years. That's the thing with these services, games rotate and suddenly you're locked out mid-story or mid-heist.

It's a little funny timing with GTA 6 less than a month away. Rockstar probably isn't losing sleep over GTA 5 leaving a subscription catalog right now. Still, plenty of people still jump into GTA Online every week and this is going to sting if they don't own the base game.

If you're still working through the campaign or grinding online, maybe wrap it up or grab a cheap copy before it disappears. I'd hate to be one mission from the end and get hit with a lock screen.
