Lucia and Jason's names might actually mean something

Was bored and decided to look up what Lucia and Jason's names mean. Turns out Lucia Caminos is Spanish for "light path" or "path of light" and Jason Duval breaks down to "healer of the valley" (Jason from Greek Iason meaning healer, Duval from French meaning of the valley).

I'm not Spanish or French so I just googled it, but if that's right it's kind of a cool detail. Rockstar doesn't usually do random name choices, they love hiding stuff in plain sight.

So what if Lucia is supposed to be on the "right" path, like she's trying to get her life together and Jason is the one who heals her from whatever messed up past she has? Or maybe it's the other way around and she's the light that pulls him out of some valley of bad decisions.

Could be a hint about the ending too. Maybe one of them ends up being the "healer" for the other and they ride off into the sunset, or maybe it's darker and the path of light leads somewhere bad. The valley thing makes me think of a low point, like Jason's stuck in a rut and Lucia is the way out.

I know people read too much into names sometimes, but with Rockstar's track record I wouldn't put it past them. Arthur Morgan's name had layers too, and John Marston's was pretty deliberate. So maybe Lucia and Jason aren't just random picks.

My take is it's probably not a huge plot twist hidden in the names, but it's a neat little nod to their roles. Jason as the healer makes sense if he's the more grounded one and Lucia's the wildcard who needs saving, or maybe they both heal each other. Either way, I'm keeping it in mind when the game drops.
