OneState just got a massive update and a new map, guess it wants to be the mobile GTA 6

So Insider Gaming is reporting that OneState, the mobile game everyone keeps calling a GTA 6 competitor, just got a monumental update. New map included apparently.

I haven't touched OneState myself but I've seen clips. It's basically the closest thing to a GTA experience on your phone right now. Rockstar hasn't said anything about a mobile GTA 6 and probably won't for years, so games like this are filling that gap.

The update is being called massive. That's all the source really says, a monumental update that takes the game to the next level on all mobile devices. No specifics on what's in it beyond the new map.

With GTA 6 still two months out, I'm not surprised these mobile clones are pushing hard. Everyone's got Vice City brain right now and they want a piece of that hype. A new map is a smart move if they're trying to keep people engaged until November 19.

I'll probably stick to watching trailers on loop, but if you're stuck commuting or whatever, OneState might scratch the itch. Just don't expect it to be anywhere near the real thing.

Anyway, new map is cool. I'm more interested in what Rockstar drops next.

That's the direct-to-video playbook. The Asylum built a whole studio on dropping Transmorphers the same week Transformers hit theaters. OneState's running the same con, and it works, people on a bus will download anything with palm trees and a wanted meter right now.

Two months out. I'd rather just wait for the real thing.
