I keep coming back to the music and voice side of things whenever someone brings up the budget. The numbers floating around for GTA 6 are wild, $1.5 to 2 billion depending on who you ask. A big chunk of that has to be going toward the radio stations and the people on them.

Think about how many stations we're probably getting. Vice City alone had a ton, and now we've got all of Leonida to fill. Each station needs a playlist, and licensing songs isn't cheap. Rockstar has always gone big on music, but this time it feels like they're aiming even higher. A-list DJs, celebrity cameos, maybe even bigger names in the actual cast than we've heard so far.

Stephen Root voicing Brian Heder was already a surprise for me. Huge King of the Hill fan, so that one hit different. It makes me wonder how many other recognizable voices are buried in there that we won't know about until launch. Rockstar loves keeping that stuff quiet.

Marketing probably ate a good chunk too. Getting celebs involved in trailers and promos isn't free. But I'm more curious about the in-game side. Voice acting for a game this size, with two protagonists and who knows how many side characters, adds up fast.

What do you all think the split looks like? Music licensing, voice acting, cameos, marketing, where did most of it go?
