New Zealand gets first play but we miss out on everything else

So everyone's hyped about the timezone thing, right? We're +12 GMT so technically we'll be among the first to hit November 19. That's cool and all, but let's be real, that's pretty much the only perk.

We don't get any of the big exclusive bundles or collector's editions. No special console wraps, no regional marketing stunts, nothing. Rockstar's not flying a blimp over Auckland. We're just a timezone to them, not a market.

And the cost of living here is brutal. I saw someone in the US complain about the $80 standard edition price. Bro, you should see what we pay for groceries. A cucumber costs like $4 NZD. A single capsicum is $3.50. Vegetables are a luxury item. So dropping $130 NZD on the Ultimate Edition? That's a week of groceries for some people.

I'm not saying I won't buy it. I've been waiting for this game since the first trailer. But it stings a little when you see Americans getting all the cool pre-order bonuses and retailer exclusives while we just get the same digital download and a pat on the back for being first.

Anyone else in a weird timezone feel like this? Or am I just being salty?
