this AAA minesweeper parody is basically gta 5 phone call hell

So there's a browser game called Triple A Minesweeper and the whole bit is that it's a regular Minesweeper dressed up with all the AAA trimmings. Unreal Engine, Nvidia, Bink Video, Wwise, the works. The creator Mike Lacher made it fully playable on his site and it really does play almost exactly like the Minesweeper you remember.
The best part is the main character, Sweeper. He just stands around repeating "I gotta sweep these mines" while his phone rings with new characters. Lacher clearly took notes from GTA 5, Metal Gear Solid, and Cyberpunk 2077 because the calls never stop. There's Nora, a potential love interest. There's The Don, some underworld guy who keeps telling Sweeper to come to his club and hints at a dark past in Singapore. And DJ Dan, who's way too chipper about Sweeper's work for New Dawn City.
Sweeper never acknowledges any of them. He just repeats the same lines over and over while everyone else talks at him. You can actually finish the game and there's a twist ending, but it's not hard to see coming. Lacher ends it there, though I kind of wish he'd added a coda about the game flopping and costing Microsoft hundreds of millions. That would've been the cherry on top.
Microsoft hasn't done much with Minesweeper lately beyond sticking it in Teams and making an ugly Christmas sweater, so this parody feels weirdly on point for how bloated a simple game can get.
What's the most annoying phone call you've gotten in a GTA game?
