hoping the gta v trio stays out of gta 6, jason and lucia deserve the spotlight

I keep seeing posts about how cool it would be if Michael, Franklin or Trevor popped up in GTA 6. And I love those characters, I really do. But I think bringing them back as actual characters in the story would be a mistake.

The moment one of them shows up on screen, the internet is going to lose its mind. Every clip, every screenshot, every discussion will be about the old trio. Jason and Lucia are brand new, they need room to breathe. If Trevor walks into a cutscene, nobody's going to be talking about what Lucia just did, they'll be posting "TREVOR IS BACK" with a thousand exclamation points.

I'm not saying erase them from existence. A radio mention, a poster, a news report about Franklin's company, that's fine. That's a nice nod. But a full on cameo where they become part of the plot? That's too much. It would overshadow the new protagonists in their own game.

Rockstar spent years building these two characters, and I want to see them shine. The old guard had their time. Let Leonida belong to Lucia and Jason.
